Adrian Evans MCIAT CMaPS ACIOB

Associate

Adrian joined P+HS in May 2004, bringing extensive experience as a senior technologist. Since joining the practice Adrian has worked on a wide range of projects including innovation centres and commercial projects and an impressive range of healthcare schemes. He is particularly experienced in the delivery of primary care buildings and has completed six buildings for one client alone.

Adrian has been responsible for delivering some of the Practice’s most complex, and innovative projects including the £19m Houghton Primary Care Centre; the first, and only, UK healthcare building to achieve BREEAM Outstanding. In 2011 Adrian was awarded the CIAT Open Award for Technical Excellence for his work at Blaydon Leisure and Primary Care Centre.  Other completed schemes include St Benedict’s Hospice in Sunderland, the new Emergency Department at Sunderland Royal Hospital and Hall 1, a new exhibition hall at the Great Yorkshire Showground.

In total, Adrian has completed around ten P21/partnering projects with a collective value of over £65m;  he has a thorough understanding of NEC contracts and fully embraces the partnering, collaborative ethos of this approach to construction delivery.

Several of Adrian’s projects are award-winners:  Best Healthcare Building (LABC) for Washington Primary Care Centre;  Best Healthcare Building (BRE Awards) and Innovation in Sustainability (BBH) for Houghton Primary Care Centre; Project of the Year (CENE) and Best Public Service Building (LABC) for St Benedict’s Hospice; Best Commercial Building and Project of the Year (RICS Yorkshire) for Hall 1 at the Yorkshire Showground.
