Ellen Baines BA (Hons) MArch
Ellen completed a summer placement at P+HS in 2017 prior to her final year at Northumbria University where she has recently graduated with a masters in Architecture. With a particular interest in design for healthcare, her final year thesis project studied the problem of drug addiction in Newcastle. By fully understanding the causes of addiction, and ‘gaps’ in the current treatment system, it helped to form a building programme which responds to a regional problem. Ellen re-joined the P+HS Newcastle team in August 2018 and has provided a wealth of enthusiasm and passion for great design.
As a valued member of the team, Ellen is currently developing her experience within the Health and Residential sectors working on projects across Northumberland, Sunderland and Newcastle. From September, Ellen will be working towards becoming a fully qualified Architect, studying for her Part 3 at Newcastle University.
