We are delighted this week with the announcement that James Almond has been appointed as a Director of P+HS Architects.
James has fulfilled the role of Associate Director since October 2017 and is as delighted as we are to be formally joining the rest of the senior management team as a Director. Commenting on the appointment, MD Joe Biggs said:
Huge congratulations to one of our newest recruits in Leeds!

We are proud to say that Kay Dodds has achieved her Building Studies HNC with distinction to become a Technician at P+HS Architects. Kay managed to complete the Teesside University course on a part time basis at Darlington whilst holding down a demanding job at P+HS in addition to project managing and delivering a barn conversion that will be her new home.
Investment in the stability and professional management of the Practice is, as ever, a high priority for us and we are continuously identifying and developing strategies to further strengthen the Management team during, what we consider to be, ongoing challenging times for the profession.
Saturday Morning 10:15 am the weather was closing in, we couldn't wait any longer for Ben so a group of us set off on the treacherous first leg of the walk from Clay Bank Car Park to Lord Stones Café. We had just passed The Wainstones when we got the news!! Ben had made a last ditch attempt to catch up. He fought his way to the top of the first climb, but sadly didn’t make it any further and went back home.
We're currently supporting all of our technical staff in achieving full membership of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) and were recently approached by the Institute to take part in a couple of films promoting their work.
As you can see, Mr P is settling into his new job following his retirement from P+HS! He is of course enjoying his retirement gift and learning to use the knives professionally in the kitchens at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, under the watchful eye of Raymond Blanc and his team.
