Grand Prix Design Award for Kingfisher Court
P+HS Architects’ Kingfisher Court has been awarded the Grand Prix Design Award at the 2015 Building Better Healthcare Awards. This award, chosen from over 100 entries across all nine categories, recognises design excellence; BBH judges said of the entry: “There are stunning views and lovely external spaces, as well as some cleverly-designed internal rooms. Without trying to be homely, it’s a very-comfortable building. It’s the most-interesting building we have looked at.”
The £42m development for Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust won a total of three awards at the ceremony, also securing the prize for best External Environment in the Patient Experience category and being crowned best in class for Mental Healthcare Design.
Congratulations to every one of the fabulous entries across all categories at this year’s awards. Read more on the winners here
