Associate, Architect, Healthcare Lead
A talented designer with a specialism in healthcare, Alice is a Healthcare Lead, Senior Architect, Interior Designer and Associate.
As well as technical knowledge and particular understanding of the health sector, Alice is a great communicator, skilled in stakeholder engagement. She has a strong arts and design background with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Interior Design as well as an BArch from the Manchester School of Architecture with an Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice in Architecture from RIBA North West Region, Liverpool.
Alice’s project portfolio is broad and her focus as Healthcare Lead covers everything from feasibility work and refurbishments to master planning and new build, delivering successful projects for primary care, acute hospitals and mental healthcare. One of Alice’s roles within the practice is to promote best practice in health care design across the offices through research into European Healthcare practices.
Alice is also on the board of Directors of Architects for Health, a non profit organisation that is also a forum for sharing best practice, knowledge, innovation and thought leadership within healthcare design.
Alice is currently project Architect for the redevelopment of Lynfield Mount Hospital in Bradford, a mental health facility that will provide 72 bedrooms across 4 new wards, an 11 bed PICU and a place of safety. The new facility will provide a welcoming community facing café as well as a choice of off ward therapy areas and outdoor gardens.
Other projects Alice is leading on range from ward refurbishments to strategic outline case for an acute hospital.
