Brad is a talented architect with experience across multiple sectors and workstages - covering feasibility studies to contract administration and small refurbishments to extensive new builds. He is a passionate designer with robust technical expertise as well as an excellent communicator skilled in stakeholder engagement, particularly within the healthcare sector.
Brad’s creative interests extend beyond buildings and into the study of their impact within the urban and social contexts. After completing his Masters in Architecture in 2013 Brad was shortlisted to receive the RIBA Silver Presidents Medal for his postgraduate thesis exploring the authenticity of space in towns and cities across the UK.
Since qualifying as an architect Brad has designed and delivered numerous projects for acute hospitals and primary care providers including a RIBA Regional award-winning cancer centre in the East Midlands.
Brad’s design achievements are complemented with an advanced experience of sustainable technology through involvement with an environmental systems manufacturer during his Part One training.
Brad works closely with clients and stakeholders in order to listen, understand and then inform the design process and prides himself in developing schemes that truly reflect the client’s requirements. He believes the simplest and most elegant design detailing provides the most efficient and practical, yet joyful results – no matter the budget.
