Katie Shepherd

Katie is a skilled and dedicated architect with an infectious enthusiasm for creating great architecture. As well as her design passion, Katie is a keen mentor and supporter of young construction professionals progressing through their careers and is past winner of Mentor of the Year at the Women in Construction Awards.

Following her graduation from Newcastle University in 2007 Katie worked for a number of leading architectural practices in the North East before joining P+HS in April 2017. Appointed as an Associate in May 2018 Katie has since led a team of talented designers and technical staff in our Newcastle office and in 2022 became an Associate Director.

In addition to her architectural training Katie holds a MA in Urban Design, providing P+HS with additional skills in large scale master planning. This combined with her in depth knowledge of the residential sector has resulted in the successful delivery of a number of large scale residential developments, with Katie currently leading on the development of a flagship Ageing Well Village in Backworth.
