Magdalena Płonka

Magda joined the Leeds office in September 2024. She holds a First-Class Honours Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the Manchester School of Architecture, where she also received the Academic Excellence Dean’s Award in 2017, followed by a Master's Degree with Distinction in 2020. She completed her Part 3 qualification with RIBA North-West and qualified as an Architect in Autumn 2023.

Magda brings a background of experience across mixed-use, commercial, and healthcare sectors, across all RIBA stages. In both her studies and professional work, Magda developed a passion for urban regeneration and adaptive reuse. She finds particular interest in projects that involve intervening with existing structures, where design challenges lead to innovative solutions and new potential for existing spaces.
