Martha is an experienced architect who has studied, taught and worked in architecture and interior architecture. She is an advocate for the integration of Art, Architecture and Interior Design to deliver a collaborative response in realising client aspirations. Her previous work ranges from cultural design projects to large commercial commissions including a hotel and conference centre.
Martha is skilled at client and stakeholder engagement in delivering successful projects. Since joining P+HS Architects Martha‘s project portfolio has included healthcare, commercial and refurbishment schemes. She is currently design lead for a new £27m mental health facility in York for TEWV due for completion in Spring 2020.
Recent completed works include; the interior design for the new £10m Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre in Northallerton, the on-site delivery of a refurbishment project for North Star Housing Group's offices in Stockton-on-Tees, Design Lead on the on-going interior refurbishment of The Harrogate International Conference Centre and Sun Pavilions, the Interior Design and Arts Collaboration for a £42m mental health facility ‘Project Fitzroy’ in Northampton for St Andrew’s Healthcare and the Interior Design for the new award-winning Exhibition Centre at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.
