Rowena Burbeck

Rowena joined our Newcastle team in July 2023 after having spent the last 18 years working in northeast practice across a variety of sectors from High Rise Residential, Student Accommodation and Offices to Leisure and Hospitality projects. She is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and skillset in the Healthcare sector and creating positive environments for the treatment and support of patients and their families.

A Senior Technologist, Rowena has a passion for creating places for people and believes that technology, buildability and regulatory compliance at the heart of design are key to achieving this.

Rowena is a keen advocate of introducing opportunities within the built environment profession to a wider audience and encouraging people to consider future careers in the field. She is a STEM Ambassador working with local schools to discuss first hand experiences and STEM in general in the world of work. She has also previously been a panel member for entry assessment of Gateshead College’s PlanBEE higher apprenticeship and a workplace mentor to students enrolled on this course and at other stages of education.

At P+HS, Rowena is currently working on an Elective Surgical Hub in Leicester.
