Steve Jordison
BSc MCIAT
Associate, Technologist, Residential Lead
An Architectural Technologist with a strong technical background in the design and delivery of residential projects, Steve joined P+HS Architects in 2001. Since then has been involved in a wide range of successful residential developments building a strong reputation and respect with clients and colleagues for his exceptional knowledge of the housing sector. In 2021 Steve was appointed as an Associate and is also one of the Practice's Residential Leads.
Project work includes the award winning Westfields development, an affordable housing scheme in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Westfields combined Steve’s interest in high quality design with the belief that social housing should not just meet but exceed the aspirations of the community.
Steve also provided the lead technical delivery role for La Sagesse for national house builder, David Wilson Homes. This development included large bespoke executive homes and the conversion of existing buildings on the site. Steve was particularly passionate about the conservation work involved in saving historically important buildings for future generations.
Steve is an advocate of technology and sustainability and was able to implement this in the development of Castle Mews in Richmond where innovation and ‘thinking outside the box’ approach was used to achieve the ambitions of the client for an environmentally friendly building. The hard work and dedication was recognised when this development was a selected as a finalist for a national award for sustainability.
