Tamsin Rush

Tamsin is an Architectural Technologist who joined our Stokesley team in 2019. Working primarily in healthcare Tamsin provides technical packages, construction drawings and assists contractors with onsite delivery. Tamsin is fascinated by healthcare design and particularly enjoys stakeholder engagement and clinical reviews, working directly with medical staff to communicate design proposals and work through the best possible solutions both from a clinical perspective and staff and patient environment; she appreciates that design may be new to clinical teams and works hard to help stakeholders to visualise proposals, using physical walk arounds and visualisation technology. Tamsin also appreciates that staff are often fitting this work around their ‘day jobs’ so takes a flexible approach to the timings of stakeholder engagement sessions.

Tamsin has led projects for a number of key clients including Northumbria Healthcare and County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trusts. Recent projects have comprised of replacement Fluoroscopy and CT facilities, Catheter Laboratories, remodelling and refurbishment of operating theatre departments and most recently the creation of an Elective Surgery Ward.

Currently an associate member of CIAT (Chartered Institute of Architectural Technology), Tamsin is currently working towards full chartered accreditation.
