£21M Project with Offsite Specialist Premier Modular

P+HS Architects is working with principal contractor Premier Modular on an exciting new development at Kings College Hospital, in London to provide a new building for the Trust’s Modernising Medicine Programme.

We have worked extensively with the Client team and Premier Modular to ensure that the design aligns with the client’s aspirations and functional requirements for the new building. The 3,450 sq m facility will allow a range of outpatient services to be relocated and consolidated, freeing up space within the main hospital building and reducing waiting times.

James Almond, Director at P+HS Architects said “We are delighted to continue and strengthen our relationship with Premier Modular for the delivery of this scheme at Kings College Hospital. This key project is Premier Modular’s largest single offsite healthcare project to date and their offsite construction solution will significantly reduce disruption to patients and staff. It is fantastic to be working on the design of this healthcare facility which uses MMC, alongside the rest of the team.”

Dan Allison, Divisional Director at Premier Modular, said, “The use of an offsite solution for this project will ensure faster delivery and earlier occupation, to the benefit of patient care. We are working to a short programme to bring these state-of-the art facilities into use as early as possible this year, to assist with the rising demand for hospital services.”
