Another awards shortlisting!

Haven Court has made the final cut in the annual Health Service Journal awards in the category 'Improved Partnerships between Health and Local Government'.

Developed by South Tyneside NHS and the Local Authority, Haven Court provides a pioneering model of care for the expanding older population of South Shields and the surrounding neighbourhood. This accessible community hub, which includes 80 bedrooms, is specifically designed to deliver a range of integrated services to support individuals, families and carers affected by the challenges of older age, including dementia.

The scheme has already been named 'Best Inclusive Building' at the North East LABC awards, so here's hoping for additional success with HSJ.
