Another Year at Design in Mental Health

Our team had a great time at the 2019 Design in Mental Health Exhibition meeting colleagues and clients old and new over the two days.

This year's event, organised by Design in Mental Health Network , was held at the Ricoh Arena for the first time. The new venue provided more space for exhibitors and visitor numbers were up on previous years. Our mental health lead directors Cath Lake and Derek Shepherd were both involved in the conferencing side of the exhibition. Cath chaired a session on Health and Wellbeing and Derek spoke alongside Martin Dale of Tees Esk and Wear Valley NHS FT about the new mental healthcare scheme we're developing at Foss Park in York.

As usual, all activities were fuelled by P+HS chocolate and our final highlight was a Highly Commended award for our work in Stakeholder Engagement with Sheffield Health & Social Care at the Longley Centre Reconfiguration project.

In short, it was a hugely successful event with plenty of discussions and knowledge-sharing, all focused on making mental healthcare better. Thanks to everyone who took part.
