Darlington Theatres Project Highly Commended at BBH Awards

Darlington Memorial Hospital's new Surgical Theatres and Enhanced Mortuary (STEM) project was highly commended by Building Better Healthcare's judges at the 2018 awards yesterday.

The £20M scheme, constructed by Vinci for County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust (CDDFT), was chosen as one of the best P21+ examples in the ProCure 22 category. The judges were particularly impressed with the bright, supportive feel of the development and singled out improvement to the mortuary environment as a beacon for other Trusts.
