Foss Park, York's New Mental Healthcare Development on Film

Our video project showcasing the wonderful Foss Park is now available to view.

Over the last few weeks, Diana, our Marketing Manager has been working closely with Tees Esk & Wear Valleys NHS FT and the team at Brawl Agency to create a couple of short films about York's new mental healthcare facility. Reflecting on the projects journey from the concept to the completed building, the two films give an overview of Foss Park's facilities and also hears from staff who were involved throughout the development.

Diana said "It's been fantastic to work on this filming project and I really hope that we have done Foss Park and the many people involved proud. The staff there are remarkable: always welcoming, helpful and positive, and I can't thank them enough for their support as we hijacked their busy days with our cameras and microphones!"

"I'm passionate about the stories behind buildings, so the opportunity to document how the project evolved and the difference it's making to the people who use it has been particularly rewarding. We design many buildings and it’s easy to sometimes to overlook why, but the reason is fundamental: to create the best possible environments to improve people's lives. Foss Park has certainly shown this to be true and I'm certain will continue to do so in the future."
