Leadership Transition at P+HS Architects

After 39 years of remarkable service and contribution to P+HS Architects, Chris Dennis will be leaving to start his retirement.

Chris’ impact on our practice cannot be overstated. Over nearly four decades, he has played a critical role in shaping the firm, especially during his five years as Managing Director. Under his leadership, we’ve grown to 105 team members, successfully launched our new Manchester office, and won the IHEEM Architectural Practice of the Year award three times.

His ability to forge strong partnerships across the residential sector has been instrumental to our success, including close collaborations with Countryside/Vistry, various Registered Providers, and our long-standing partnership with Kebbell Homes.

Although Chris is stepping down from his role, we are pleased to share that he will remain with P+HS as a consultant until Christmas, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity for our clients and projects. This will provide time for a seamless handover of responsibilities and allow us to benefit from Chris’s invaluable experience during this transition.

The Board has worked closely with Chris to ensure the process of appointing a new Managing Director is well-prepared and aligned with the business’s long-term vision and we are delighted to announce that James Almond will officially take on the role of Managing Director, effective 1st October. We are excited about the future under James’ leadership and look forward to the energy and perspective he will bring.

Our priority remains the continuity of our projects and client relationships. We are fully committed to ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining the high standards of service you expect from us.

We would like to extend our deepest thanks to Chris for his outstanding leadership and dedication to P+HS Architects.
