Completion of Middleton and Dinsdale Medical Practice

We are delighted to announce the completion of the new Middleton and Dinsdale Medical Practice on the outskirts of Darlington.

P+HS have been working with developer Community Ventures to provide fit-for-purpose premises, ensuring the continued provision of primary care services to the residents of Middleton St. George and securing the area's healthcare for the future.

Situated in front of mature woodland in rural County Durham, the single-storey building is designed around a landscaped courtyard, promoting mental well-being alongside clinical practice. The new surgery boasts twice as many clinical rooms as before, offering a significantly improved environment for both patients and staff who have been working out of temporary modular accommodation for the past 6 years.

The GP staff have been involved throughout the whole design and delivery process, working closely with the P+HS Team and Community Ventures to ensure the new practice meets the needs of both staff and patients.

We are thrilled that the GPs have recently been able to move into the new facility, and that the final touches to the landscaping are underway. These improvements will complement the natural surroundings, enhancing the site's aesthetic impact as well as promoting ecological benefits.
