New Theatres for Wansbeck Hospital

Phase 1 of the theatre refurbishment at Wansbeck General Hospital was handed over yesterday.

It's interesting to compare the visualisations of the scheme with images of the completed works. Very little difference except that the photographs were taken just before handover, so there are no staff present! Hopefully it won't be long until these new spaces are fully operational and delivering benefit to both patients and staff with their most up to date technology and improved environment.

Phase 2, for 4 more theatres, recovery and ancillary spaces, will begin later in the year.
