Newcastle's Day Treatment Centre Shortlisted for Constructing Excellence Awards

Our team is delighted that The Freeman Hospital's new Day Treatment Centre has been shortlisted for this year's CENE Awards!

Joining other great projects from the North East, the DTC is a finalist in the Constructing Excellence North East Awards 2023 in not one, but three categories: Value, Integration & Collaborative Working, and Project of the Year!

Designed and built in just 10 months, the building was in use 2 years earlier than it would have been under a traditional programme, meaning thousands of elective surgeries delivered sooner, making a real difference to people's lives.

We are all immensely proud of this project and the team involved in its creation: a truly collaborative effort from Newcastle Hospitals NHS FT, Robertsons, DPP, CAD21, Gen North, Portland Consulting, and of course the P+HS team.
