No One Size Fits All in Stakeholder Engagement

Writing for the Design in Mental Health Network, P+HS Architects' Director and Mental Healthcare Lead Cath Lake draws on her 15+ years' experience to reflect on the importance of inclusive stakeholder engagement throughout the design process.
Cath argues that without engagement, designers create only their own interpretation of the brief. "..for design to truly be good, it needs to respond to each user’s needs in a positive way. If it doesn’t solve a problem, and make life better, why spend already challenging budgets in the first place?"
