P+HS Architects Celebrate 40 Years

Saturday saw colleagues at P+HS Architects come together to celebrate a major milestone in the practice’s history.

January 2024 marks 40 years since P+HS Architects was founded, and it has certainly come a long way. From a single studio, two-person practice back in 1984 to today with four locations and over a hundred colleagues is itself an achievement, but the celebrations are about much more than numbers.

The real celebration is about the impact that P+HS Architects’ work has had on so many people over the last 40 years. Projects that have transformed lives with better, more affordable places to settle, feel safe, and call home.

We have improved patient environments that positively impact recovery and wellbeing, healthcare facilities designed to optimise NHS resources, deliver efficiencies, and support staff.

Not to forget the many people we have worked with over the years – colleagues, partners and clients. All in all, it really has been about the people: our clients who have the belief to commission us to realise their vision, the stakeholders and end users who play such an important role in shaping that vision and our people whose passion for great design.

40 years is about celebrating all of those people’s achievements. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we are looking forward to working with you to shape positive change for the decades to come.
