P+HS Architects Charity Challenge Hits Target
P+HS Architects Charity Challenge Hits Target
30 November 2020
We are delighted to share the news that our Active Architects team has successfully completed its virtual mission 20 in 2020. Covering an astounding 25,066.8 miles in 10 months, our intrepid team of 36 staff who signed up to the challenge have walked, run, cycled, skied and swum their way round 20 world landmarks, keeping fit, benefiting their mental wellbeing and raising funds for charity along the way. Notable activities include freezing cold forays into wild water swimming, individual marathons and a virtual team relay with some hilarious out-takes of unsuccessful baton throwing and catching! We 'visited' some amazing places too - see the map below for our virtual route.
So far, the team has raised an amazing £3638.00 to be shared between their chosen charities: Simon on the Streets in Leeds, Neighbourhood Welfare Middlesbrough and Newcastle's The People's Kitchen . If you'd still like to donate to help these charities who are working so hard to support people struggling with the challenges of homelessness, please do. The link to our fundraising page will remain open until Wednesday 9th December https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/phsarchitects
Thanks to everyone who has taken part and supported us.
We're looking forward to next year's challenge!
