P+HS Architects Climbs Ranking in AJ100 2024
24 June 2024
Friday marked the big reveal of the long-awaited AJ100 listing. The survey, established in 1995, is the definitive annual record of the UK’s largest architecture practices measured by the number of architects employed in the UK and P+HS Architects is always keen to see where it ranks among its peers.
This year P+HS Architects is in joint 82nd position; a jump on last year. Commenting on the result, MD Chris Dennis said:
“This year the team at P+HS Architects are celebrating 40 years of successful practice. Since our early beginnings we have always followed a path of planned and sustainable growth, building resilient, balanced teams to ensure that we have the right talent in the right place to support our clients. Now a practice of over 100 and four studio locations, making the cut for the AJ100 is less of a surprise than it might have been 20 years ago! but we are never complacent and are thrilled to see our name rank among the top 100 in the profession.
Personally, I’m immensely proud of what our team has achieved over the last 40 years. With growth has come opportunity and our teams have grasped it with both hands, delivering great architecture, meaningful projects, and all the while making time to continue to learn, share knowledge, and educate others.
During Thursday and Friday of last week, the teams undertook a Relay Challenge, raising money for the Trussell Trust as part of our 40 year celebrations. As they walked, cycled, run and kayaked between our offices – Manchester to Newcastle, via Leeds and Stokesley using no motorised transport, I am again reminded that no matter how big a practice we are, we are still very much one team that cares about one another as well as the work we do. And most importantly we haven’t forgotten how to have fun along the way!”
