New Offices for Newcastle

P+HS Architects has relocated its Newcastle office to allow for continued expansion.

Building on another enormously successful year in offices on Mosely Street, the Newcastle team has moved around the corner to a newly refurbished office suite in the iconic Milburn House on Dean Street. Still enjoying a city centre location and within easy reach of the central station, Newcastle Director Derek Shepherd explained the move:

"Since 2016 P+HS Architects' Newcastle team has steadily grown. We now have a strong team of 10 with a healthy balance of design and technical expertise but our studio space was becoming limited for flexibility and inter-office collaboration. This move to Milburn House is a significant step for us that will help to consolidate our success and look to the future. Milburn House is a building full of character and architectural interest; the location is fantastic, equidistant between the station, city centre and quayside, easily accessible to everyone. The availability of this new spacious suite of workspace came at the perfect time for us."

"We now have much better facilities for our staff and colleagues visiting from other offices as well as meeting rooms to welcome our clients. With a Practice of 70 staff across three locations (Leeds, Stokesley and Newcastle), the ability for agile working across teams is increasingly important to us and this move strengthens our ability to work collaboratively across the UK. Our move coincides with a new integrated communication phone systems and IT connectivity, making pan office working and hot-desking even more efficient. The future is exciting for P+HS Architects. With space to grow and thrive, we're looking forward to the next chapter in our story."
