Progress from York Inpatient Facility

Work at the new York Inpatient Facility for Tees Esk and Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust is making good progress on site. Contractor Wates are focusing on roofing works and water-tightness to Block A so that internal works can progress.

Due for completion in March 2020, the new facility will provide a total of 72 bedrooms with four 18-bed wards: two adult, single sex wards and two older people’s wards (one for people with dementia and one for people with mental health problems such as psychosis, severe depression or anxiety).
