James Almond attended UKIO 2024

James Almond attended the UK Imaging and Oncology Congress at the ACC Liverpool today, June 11th! UKIO is the UK’s largest imaging and oncology event where likeminded professionals come together to share cutting edge, practice- based content and exhibitions of the latest state-of-the-art equipment, services and technology.

As a progressive practice and leading healthcare architect, P+HS are continuously looking to learn about the latest and best technologies to include in our designs, keeping us and our clients at the forefront of best practice. The UKIO programme provides new innovative solutions and technologies from expert industry leaders and is hugely beneficial to our current and future work.

The hands-on and case-based workshops, sessions on innovation, technology and service delivery and plenary programme of speakers at the congress gave inspiring insight into many multidisciplinary sectors, addressing medical, scientific, educational and management issues in the fields of diagnostic imaging, oncology, and radiological sciences. “What a delightful day spent discussing MES, Imaging, Diagnostics and Oncology at the 2nd day of the UKIO conference at the ACC Liverpool. Fantastic to see so many great contacts, friends new and old of P+HS Architects and hear about a wide range of topics in this exciting field of healthcare and technology. Lots of fabulous speakers, ideas and new technology, all aiming to improve healthcare diagnoses and outcomes for patients.”
