Charity Fun

Each year we support a range of charities: baking and buying cakes, dressing up, walking, running and cycling to name but a few. Our staff are endlessly generous in their willingness to jump in and help others.

In 2018, recognising the 70 year anniversary of the NHS, P+HS donated £70 per employee to a health related charity of their choosing; quite a sum with 60+ staff!

This year we have supported Wear a Hat Day for Brain Tumour Research in March and Mental Health Awareness Week in May. September saw our bakers don their pinnies ready for Macmillan's Biggest Coffee Morning and we'll round the year off with festive fun for Save the Children with our brightest and best Christmas Jumpers. In addition, we began a Virtual Mission in February, with 34 staff signing up to travel (running, cycling, walking, skiing, swimming and more) a virtual route across the world visiting 20 landmarks along the way - 20 in 2020. Through generous sponsorship, we are aiming to hit £3500 for local homeless charities. Visit our news pages for regular progress updates, which, since lockdown, we are smashing!
