Derwentside College

P+HS Architects were retained by the College to co-ordinate room data sheets and room loading drawings for the new campus. The scope of works included ‘hand holding’ for the College together with design input to ensure that the College were provided with facilities which met their aspirations by the developers and the architect.
The practice worked closely with the college to formulate the brief for the working environment and monitored the suitability of the educational environment proposed.
P+HS Architects was subsequently commissioned to design Phase 2 of the new campus as Team Leader and Design Architects. This involved the extension of the college to create an enlarged student social area, enhanced external seating areas, improved CAD and classroom facilities and the provision of a Multi Use Games Area
