On Site Moulders Park
On Site Moulders Park
In partnership with Livin and Hardwick Homes, P+HS have been working on a scheme to provide 65 new affordable homes to rent in Spennymoor, County Durham.
The development features a mix of 2-storey homes and bungalows with 2, 3, and 4 bedrooms, all situated within walking distance of Spennymoor town centre. Upon completion, these homes will provide residents with modern, energy-efficient living spaces designed to meet a variety of needs, fostering a vibrant and connected community.
To further enhance sustainability and reduce energy costs for tenants, each home will be equipped with PV solar panels, air-source heat pumps, and an electric vehicle charging point. This approach not only minimises the carbon footprint but also ensures long-term affordability for residents, contributing to a more sustainable future for the community.
The site, which was formerly a greyhound track, has now been named Moulders Park after The Moulders Arms a local pub from the mid-1800s when the nearby brickworks were in operation.
With completion expected in spring 2026, we're eager to follow the progress on site and see our vision for 65 affordable homes come to life.
